I have a lot of activities and objects of affection that keep me busy!! I'm a digital artist, primarily -- I draw habitually, it keeps me happy and healthy and feeling like myself! But I'm interested by many art forms :-]
Creative writing / worldbuilding, painting, sewing / fursuit making and puppet making are my favorites to sink time into!

• How to Train Your Dragon (Cressida Cowell's books specifically!)
• Spider-Man!!! Mainly the MCU movies & TSSM, though I love it all :3
• The Inkworld series by Cornelia Funke (my copy of Inkheart was a comfort object for me for awhile, I carried it around everywhere and reread it so much that it ended up falling apart ahaha)
• The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (^ likewise!)
• The Captain Underpants series
• The Magnus Archives
• Most of Guillermo del Toro's work

... and many more!! Though these ones have taken up the most of my brainspace over the years hehe

I also loooove comics, specifically webcomics! Reading them, creating them, listening to other creators talk about their process, it's all very captivating to me and brings me a lot of joy! You can find a list of my favorite comics here!!

I subscribe to IFS therapy / multiplicity of mind paradigm. Simply put: the idea that all human brains are built of multiple facets working together (or conflicting…) to make up a whole external personhood!
I have a complicated relationship to / view of my own plurality and it’s a very vulnerable thing for me, but I’m trying to be more open about it as time goes on :D

I’ve spent a good few years trying to identify and discern my parts and am still somewhat in the thick of it, but the ones I have the best understanding of & closest relationships with currently are Grace, Daniel and Adam. And of course there's the “I” writing this — Fisher! Hiiii! Fish is the guy who most often engages in creative pursuits and manages our social persona, so this site is oriented to his tastes :3

☆ Fisher - he/it

The man, the myth, the legend… I go by many nicknames, but most call me fish. I also use the moniker halolimnic (a word describing marine organisms capable of surviving in freshwater)!
I'm a passionate comic artist, lucid dreamer and lover of all things aquatic. My favorite subjects to draw are myself and my buddies from my brain

As far as I can tell, “I” came into being in 2021-2022, when I was building up the courage to socially transition. I built myself a shiny new self from the ground up, and I’m proud of it!
My name is inspired by two characters I deeply identify with/as, Fishlegs (HTTYD books) and Peter Parker! I am also otherkin and see myself as a seadragon, which can be read more about on my draconity page :3 (currently WIP)

Joshua / Grace - he/she

Grace represents my happiness, wholeness and feeling assured/accepted for what I am. In IFS terms, she could be described as our Self; in moments of extreme contentedness I can sense her presence and communicate with her, and the feeling of being with her is very comforting.
Grace made himself known in 2021; I met him in a dream, in which he recognized me as a dragon and excitedly embraced me for it. We continued to spend time together in dreams for a good several years and became VERY close through them; she is my best friend, the love of my life!!
These days she comes out when I’m really absorbed in a creative hobby, when I’m listening to our favorite music, or when I’m spending time with friends :D

Daniel - he/him

My little darling dragonborn…
While the other two like to hang back and give their opinions from the sidelines, Daniel shares my actual consciousness and sometimes dictates my external behavior. He’s very sensitive and jumpy, a holdover from some really rough times in my life, and is prone to lashing out & shutting down.
Daniel doesn’t really like talking to others, including the rest of us up in the ol’ brain, so I rarely engage with him outside of times of extreme stress… I’m really working to get to know him better in more positive contexts though! He is very dear to me.

Daniel doesn’t like to draw, but he really likes to express himself through pretend-play and fiction writing. Many of my current OCs were actually created by him, back when he was ‘in charge’ more often!

Adam - he/him

Adam is… quite the character. He’s the newest member of the group to have made himself known, and very insistetly at that LOL. He’s been frequently popping up in my dreams since 2024 and more recently I’ve been able to converse with him in the waking world as well.
Adam is a manifestation of a lot of anxieties I have & is often very mean to the rest of us… but I choose to believe he’s redeemable and do my best to be kind to him regardless. I used to be very afraid of him, but we’re warming up to each other
